Dynadot auctions, has it really come to this?

This has been discussed, in general, and most auction houses have stopped it: Bidder 1 $50 Bidder 2 $55 - me Bidder 3 $60 etc.etc.etc etc. Bidder 2 - $410 Bidder 3 - $420 Dynadot ever so kindly offers me the domain at $410 when bidder #3 doesn't pay. When I decline bidder #1 gets it for...

question Did I just get lucky?

My first name I ever registered was aqueducts.net back in 2008 by hand registration. It got put on Sedo's 'Great Domains' auction and it sold for a whopping $100. Talking about a sweet introduction into domaining? Is it just me, or is Aqueducts.net a pretty crappy name? I do not see it, even...

advice My domain expired and sold for $15000 in GoDaddy auctions.

My domain expired and sold for $15000 in godady auctions. I have question 1. What right registrar have to sell my expired domain in auction and take all money. (inatead of dropping name from registry or give money to original owner) As this is not fair and registrar is getting big money for free.

    What to do next?

It only took me a couple of weeks of work but I finally listed all of my domains on both Afternic AND Sedo. I've set up the Afternic nameservers on most of my domains (better to pay 15% commission than 25%). I've set up a couple domains on Sedo (the ones that were not accepted on Afternic). I...

    Sedo 4 Letter Domain Auction?

Anyone have experience with Sedo's 4 Letter domain auction? You have to put a reserve price for under $99. My question is, if you get a bid for $150 or even $2,500 and then the AUCTION ENDS, are you able to decline the highest bid if you believe that the value of your domain is higher? I own...

question Where does Porkbun auction names?

I noticed Porkbun was VERY fast to confiscate and auction off a domain I decided to drop. Obviously Porkbun is not a company I want to do business with in the future, but I was kind of curious if the dropped names were getting any action. I found https://porkbun.com/marketplace and the name...
